On Feb. 22, Matt took to his Instagram to release a statement about Rachael's past racist actions, as well as the controversial interview between Rachel Lindsey and Chris Harrison.

A source from Life & Style also confirmed the split.

“Matt broke up with Rachael mainly due to the backlash. At the end of the day, he cared more about protecting himself, supporting his friend [former Bachelorette] Rachel Lindsay and speaking out against the franchise. Rachael can’t wait until she can finally share her side of the story once the finale airs,”

If you're hoping for the duo to get back together like Clare and Dale, that's highly unlikely. "There’s no chance for a reconciliation with Rachael," per Reality Steve.

Is Matt dating anyone else from his season now?

There are a lot more questions than answers about who Matt is dating RN. Did he pull a Pilot Pete and get back together with an eliminated contestant? Was his beard at the Women Tell All a sign of his single status? Only time will tell.

There are rumors that Matt connected with Heather Martin, who drove up in a mini-van in a failed attempt at joining season 25. Considering the "After The Final Rose" special hasn't even filmed yet, there's no way to know for sure. But, you can take a wander down Bachelor memory lane and see that more than one previous couple spoke about their split live. Take Peter Weber and Hannah Ann Sluss, Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi, and Arie Luyendyk and Becca Kufrin as prime examples of breakup chats. In fact, some couples had the end of their 'ships filmed for the show.
