Jennifer Lopez performed Saturday night on a Central Park stage for Global Citizen's live concert event. Her set included hits “If You Had My Love” and “Love Don't Cost a Thing,” before she was joined by LL Cool J and Ja Rule for “I'm Real” and “Ain't It Funny.”
Continuing the theme of beloved throwbacks, Lopez left the event hand-in-hand with her new old boyfriend, Ben Affleck. Affleck appeared to be assisting Lopez as she walked down the stairs from the venue, as she was wearing silver stilettos and he had on a sturdier pair of motorcycle boots:
J.Lo's post-show look was much more casual than when she took to the stage in a black jumpsuit featuring plunging décolletage lined with ornate sequined appliqué.
Affleck wasn't seen arriving at the event, and must have been watching from a private location. The couple has been quiet this week after stunning appearances at the 78th Venice International Film Festival and then the Met Gala earlier this month. This was the first time Affleck's been seen clean-shaven recently, which is reportedly for a new film project.
During her performance, Lopez also debuted something new—a song from her upcoming film, Marry Me.
“Do you guys mind if I do a song that no one has heard?” she asked the enthusiastic audience. “Because it's a special occasion, and I thought, ‘What special thing can I do?’ This song is about pushing through old mistakes and finding your destiny ... But this is just for you guys here tonight. I want to share this with you because I feel, I feel, what I know is that we are on our way.”
The song, titled “On My Way” seemed to go over well, even compared to the reaction to her classics. Marry Me will be in theaters on February 11.
